In the southern state of Karnataka, and just touching Tamil Nadu and Kerala, is the Bandipur National Park. Bandipur is best when visited between March and October. Bandipur’s main attractions are elephants and the Indian bison. Situated at a height of 1000 metres from sea level, Bandipur National Park has stunted trees and low lying shrubs interspersed with grassy patches.
